Research question

How can security systems remain effective when users are distracted, rushed, habituated, or confronted with convincing attacks?

This theme treats human interaction as part of the security boundary. The work studies security decisions, interface friction, cognitive load, notification fatigue, risk communication, trust, and user response under benign and adversarial conditions. Rather than expecting people to detect every attack, the goal is to design systems that guide better decisions and remain resilient when human attention is imperfect.
